My first flex public app :)

Now I am proud that I have a flex app online. This is the first which I did and is public.
It is a xml creator for AccordionTreeMenuV3 component from jumpeyecomponents.com.
You can see it here

It’s a pretty good application, though it could use the possibility to preview the menu with the new styles. And those help buttons… maybe it would have been better to use hints for each text box that needs to be edited…
Anyway, it’s very useful tool for those who use the menu components… and it can generate the xml too… Nice touch… ;)

I am actually buying this component tonight. I am also getting the drop down tree menu. Wouldn’t it be pretty easy to convert this app into one that works for the drop down tree menu? Please do that!
Hey, while I have your attention, make the flow list work with transparent png’s!! :) I was so dissapointed after I bought it. Your competitor’s does. :(
Anyway, the topic is your app. What would make it more cool is having a publish button to put the xml file on the server. So I could put the app in the same folder as the xml file, put a password to that directory, and let clients use it as a backend to edit their own navigation.

ummmm… I just realized you don’t even make flow list. I’ve bought too many components, ha. ;)

yeap i know. We want to translate this tool for Drop Down Menu but for moment we are very busy cause we are working on a few new components and add-ons for the existing components.
I hope you will be happy with our components. :)

Hey Demi,
Nice app man…I have been thinking of using Drupal/Flex to build a couple of demos for clients…What would you recommend as a beginner level?.Of course i could build client side apps, but what point would that be??
Im not concerned with the layout/events and behaviors of a flex app but how to connect to data is the area that concerns me…Cold Fusion - too expensive to host for the most part..to me ?php will be the preferred method. Any thoughts??
Great components bro!! You all are very professional - at the end of the day quality is where it counts…
